Prayer of Thanksgiving and Farewell

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father
We give thanks for the life of Beryl Josephine Tishler.
Thank you for the  qualities and experiences she breathed into the lives of Susan , Ron, Jane, Malcolm and Tracey.
And so through the generations she will continue to enrich our lives, as,  by nature and nurture , our own character and personalities have at least in part been shaped by her.
Help us to hold onto the good and forgive all else.
Father God we commend to you her spirit as one who with gentleness humbly called each of us to live life with the strength of a pure heart.

Beryl enlisted in the army  at the age of 18. Both of her brothers Jack and Bob were already in. Australia was  in its second world war  . Some actions define us , some define a nation
